Afternoon Turmeric Chai

Since our trip to India I have been enjoying a chai several times a day (I am powering through almond mylk!) but I thought it was time for a twist! I love golden Mylk and I love chai so it’s only natural I would love both combined .. Rob even said “this is the best drink I’ve had since arriving in the UK” so I will take that as a win!

Turmeric has a long list of health benefits but some of the more known benefits is that it has an anti-inflammatory role in the body. You are able to find it as the dried powder or the fresh root – both can be used for this recipe.

As it is with all spices try and use organic where possible, as you are ingesting the whole spice any pesticides or chemicals added into the growing process will also be completely digested!

This recipe is Gluten free, Dairy free, Soy free, Vegan, Paleo, Refined sugar free, anti-inflammatory
