Superfood Power Balls

I LOVE making bliss balls, full of nutrients and one of the fastest things to whip up in the kitchen. I recently make a batch of my superfood power balls for my girls weekend away!

Theses babies they are completely vegan, sugar-free gluten-free and raw! And you can’t taste the sneaky addition of dulse flakes (seaweed). I do love dates, but sometimes I feel they can be a little bit overdone, so this recipe is date free but feel free to add them in 🙂

There is quite a lot of ingredients with this recipe – I needed to clean out my pantry and finish up a few things you can substitute ingredients for what you have at home.

Ingredients:
1.5 cups of mixed nuts (organic and activated)
1/2 cup raw cacao
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 cup of nut butter (I used raw peanut butter)
2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil (more added if too dry)
1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
1 tablespoon Spirulina
1 tablespoon barley grass powder
1 tablespoon acai powder
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2 tablespoons maca powder
1 heaped tablespoon dulse flakes

Method: put all the dry ingredients into a food processor and process until roughly chopped.

Add the wet ingredients until the mixture starts to stick together. Roll into balls and roll in leftover cacao powder or desiccated coconut.
Eat straight away or pop into the freezer for a later time.
